i have 3 friends with tickets #500-503 in line at Metreon and theyve been told that they will walk away with a PS3 tomorrow. Bastards, allocating the bulk of the product to their own stores...

Over 700 people lined up at the Metreon already! Just saw it on the news. The reporter said a staff member took his vacation this week just to line up. I have a shot to get one.. but very very slim.

What an impatient society we live in. I'm going to wait until it becomes readily available just like I did with the 360. I'm glad I did because most of the time, it just sits there. I'm sure the PS3 will be no different. It's the same old gameplay with prettier graphics. I will be getting a Wii though.
FYI: xBOX 360 is not available for $300 and core version for $199 @ microcenter (Santa Clara). Can't get any cheaper than this.
