Default Place to cut stock resonator

Hey guys,
I have been meaning to try cutting my stock resonator off. People say that unleashes the growl in the S. Might as well try it out heh. I have been seeing people on S2ki getting it done for like 30 bucks. Wondering if any of you guys can recommend a place to get it done at. Maybe a homie hook up or something Thanks!

try muffler works in Albany, right off i80 near Target.

1085 Eastshore Hwy Albany, CA 94710-1011 - (510) 526-5003

I had a resonator cut off on a 3 inch exhaust and replaced with a straight pipe. Cost about $40 and welded very well.

keep us updated on how it sounds afterwards...

There are numerous sound clips and such floating around an a quick search would yield a lot. From what I have read, if you cut the stock resonator, it will be a little throatier. If you take out the cat and put a straight pipe in place with a cut resonator, then it will be raspy. I personally don't want my car to be too loud and I don't want to spend a lot of money for a small increment of noise Overall, though a new system would give me maybe a couple whp and more sound and lighter weight, it's not worth the 150+ for a DD : p Thanks for the recommendations.
