im pretty sure it works.. there is a corvette parked outside of my work right now and he has a reflector thingy on his rear plate... from the side i cant even see his plate, from directly behind it i can see.. and i imagine if there was any sort of flash imposed on the plate, it would be all white & over exposed.

Although the reflector thing works, you can get a ticket for having it over the license plate in the first place. That is, if the policeman wants to be a meanie head about it...

Yeah I got a fix it ticket for a cover over my plate before. It's also REAL obvious when you use those reflective plates.

If you run redlights often, which you shouldn't...you should just run without plates.
