PESCADERO FUN RUN - Sat. 12/15/07
Pescadero Rd. Fun Run - Sat. 12/15/07
It's been a while, so lets do this shiet. If you're itching for a drive you gotta hit this one up. This road takes you through the valleys of the santa cruz mountains right here in our backyard. A two lane road all the way w/ curves a plenty. From the Pagemill Rd exit off 280 I believe it takes about 45 mins to reach the ocean. Depending on how peeps are feeling we'll determine the return route.
What we can expect:
No traffic, no bumpy or graveled road, some dirt on the road, the occasional deer and a fantastical journey to the beach. Top up or top off we'll have a blast.
Our usual togue' driving courtesies apply:
1. (most important) DRIVE WITHIN YOUR LIMITS, don't try to keep up if you're falling behind, we'll take enough breaks for everyone to catch up. As always there is nothing to prove, we're just out there to have fun.
2. If you're slower than the guy behind you let him pass. Everyone knows it sucks to get stuck behind a slower car. If the car behind you flashes his/her lights let them pass when its safe.
3. Be safe, stay in your lane and use common sense.
Details
We'll meet up at the Mitsuwa parking lot at 12:15pm sat. 12/15(Mitsuwa Market - 675 Saratoga Avenue, San Jose, CA 95106). From there we'll head up 280n to Pagemill rd and the fun begins.
Here's a map of the route:
280n to Pagemill rd to Hwy 9n to La Honda to Pescadero rd to the Coast.
