If the truck was still there, I don't know why you didnt just try to go through the owner through insurance. Take the plates or something.

Yeh that was a immature part on my behalf. I would go threw insurance but the damage isnt as much roughly around $200+/-. Also my deductable is $1000 so not worth going threw them.
Me and my friend did wait for the owner to return est~45mins(in the rain). My pateince ran out and thats when I did immature part.
