Passing smog with an older Comptech header on an AP2
So I drive a 2004, and my comptech header's EO number is "455-12", however when I look online at the CARB website: from what i can tell, the comptech header E0# "455-12" is only for the "2000-2002 Honda S-2000 2.0L", while the EO# "455-21" is for the "2000-2004 S2000 2.0 L".
What would you if you were in my shoes?
EDIT: Yes, I realize the 2004 is not a 2.0L engine, so what gives when the CARB website lists information wrong to begin with.
I'm sensing I'm in trouble since mine is the 455-12, listed as only working for the 2000-2002, and I'm driving a 2004.

Hello again Casey! I would check in with the shop to see what the payment conditions are if you fail smog; I recall hearing that some shops will not charge if you fail. What year is your car? If its an 05 & up - neither of those EOs will work if they go by the books/strict when checking - In this case, I would just uninstall the header for the smog. Also try calling Comptech/CT Engineering.
Vu & Brian might be able to chime in here, they seem to have better experience with this.

My car is a 2004.
Unfortunately, I have since sold the OEM header, so I might be digging around for a header to borrow if I run into an issue here. Please someone let me know if they have an OEM header I can borrow for these purposes if I run into trouble.
I've put a email out to CT engineering based on your recommendation.

I think the shop wouldn't care if thats the right carb# or not as long as there's a # on there.. But let me know if you don't pass I have an 05 oem header sitting around I don't mind letting you borrow.

Yup, I don't think they will go that far to check the exact numbers. U alreay have a CARB # and that is already more than most aftermarket headers have. When are u due for smog?

they won't go the distance to check which number correspond to what. As long as it has carb # that's all they care.
