Parting with my Emotion Cai
Let me edit.
I'm done with rubbing. Current wheels are 17x8 +25 offset (Rears). Owner from AutoRnD recommended replacing them because rolling my fenders isn't enough.
I was thinking 17x8 +50 front and 17x9 +60 rear.
However, he told me to go 17x9 all around with 255 tires.
Just need your opinion. I read some are running 245 while others are 255.
Sorry for the earlier confusion.

before your edit, you mentioned you werent tracking so there isnt really a reason to run nonstag 17x9 all around.
depending on the offset with a 255 in the front, you will have issues with clearance.
whereas 17x8 +50 front and 17x9 +60 rear is a safe route and is fine for the street, you can prob get away with as low offset as +45 front/rear and still be fine.

Thank you so much for the response.
The owner of AutoRnD did mention that +45 offset is fine but I will probably go for the 17x8 +50 (front) and 17x9 +60 (rear) for a peace of mind.
Now comes the tire size? I saw this...
Fronts 215-45-17
Rears 245-40-17
He said he wasn't rubbing.
Thanks again chViETnk! Sorry if I confused the hell out of you earlier. I really shouldn't be rambling.

Wait, are your front fenders currently already rolled? Flared?
It all depends on what size tires you plan on running. The 255/40/17 on the 17x9 +60 in the rear will be no issue.
Now, do you want to stay staggered or go nonstaggered? Any plans on tracking or auto-x later on? You can fit the 17x9 +60 with 255/40/17 in front as well. It will look more aggressive, but the car will oversteer a bit (good/bad depending on the person). If you're going to stay staggered, the 17x8 +50 with a 225/45/17 should fill the front fenders fine as well.

I'd definitely do 225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear on those 17x8 +50 and 17x9 +60 wheels. In addition to the extra rubber, those are more popular sizes with better selection and for some brands/models the 225s are cheaper than the 215s and the 255s are cheaper than the 245s.
