just picked up an ap2 bumper+lip and was wondering what you guys think is a reasonable price for paint... called a shop and got quoted over the phone for 500 for berlina black but does that sound a bit too steep?



oh and if you guys know any good paint shops around the bay with reasonable pricing please let me know! thanks

$500 for both the bumper and the lip is pretty cheap -- you probably won't be seeing the best quality paint job ever -- but depending on how picky you are, it'll do?

That's 300 for a bumper/lip combo. You really expect to find it cheaper? Might as well go to Maaco.... They'll paint it for you cheap.

Quality doesn't equal cheap. The color match will probably be "good" at best, and the orange peel will most likely be TERRIBLE. Expect to see runs in the paint/clear, DA sanding marks all over the place, and terrible prep work.
