2000 only outside
6000 with engine bay (whole car)
Do they remove the engine to paint the engine bay?

What is their pricing like? I have an 06 LBP that I want resprayed (outside only), a few dings, and one piece of body work on the door/jamb.

So far, I've gotten 4 estimates of my work around here in Fremont. The minimum quote has been $1700 which I find strange because a brand new door panel from Honda is $620. When I've asked why the "6hrs of labor" quote was nearly the entry price of painting a car ($2000) I've been told that a full respray of our car would start at $6000. I got that same answer from most places. Seems way over priced to me but I sure can't find a local place that says differently. I think I may just go through insurance. Is that 19th Autobody Center AAA approved?

Ya, I know how all that works. However, I did end up going to a few of these places and Advantage said 1) They would not repair it, as a convertible, structural integrity is in the door, thus 2) it has to be replaced. Which was my goal. So, I've got an appointment for later this month. I don't think any structural integerity is in the door skin but hey, this just became a paint and part swap fix and that's exactly what I wanted. =)

Oh, also, they too said $6000 starting for a full respray.
