So I posted last week how I cracked my ap1 lip while parking, hitting one of those concrete blocks in front of the parking space. I'm real anal when it comes to my car, so within 2 days I bought a replica ap1 lip. (thanks to everyone who offered to sell me their ap1 lips)

Now all I gotta do is buy the weatherstripping material, and more importantly, get it painted. However, I'm toying with the idea of leaving the lip black. Coincidentally, the same day I picked up the lip, there was another s2k on the freeway, same color as mine(Sebring silver), with an unpainted ap1 lip. At a glance, it looked pretty cool.

So I gotta ask, any opinions? Pics are welcome too. I did a search for installed unpainted ap1 lips, but got nothing. Thanks in advance my fellow s2k brethren.

If you are anal, then paint it, unless you have a color contrast theme going on.

Did some searching for pics, I like it unpainted.
Most likely going to do this with black wheels and badges.

Obviously, dowhatchalyk!! Although I have BB, on my other rides with CF lips, I always felt the optical illusion of dark on dark (black on asphalt) makes the car look higher in the front. You mentioned anal, so unpainted parts is just not worthy of the high-five from us other anal folk Nothing like the CRUNCH of the parking block versus your lip, eh? haha
