That is insanity! $800+ is just too much for a parking ticket.
At the very least the "no parking on the grass" signs should also say "fine may exceed $800".

At the very least you should just listen to the 5 signs posted right in front of you, the red curb which always means emergency, and the writing on said red curb that says NO PARKING. It's too bad it was only 800$, they should have towed/impounded her car too.

It's a big deal because you have a bunch of little kids, playing [sports]. If there's an emergency, emergency vehicles need to use that curb. People parking there can cost lives; it's stupid, it's selfish, people like her need to get over herself and walk 10ft.

It's like seeing perfectly healthy guys at the 24hr fitness parking in handicap spots right in front of the gym. That is blatant disrespect and those people deserve the maximum fine! I don't give a rats a$$ you drive a nice car and think you can park there just because you have a handicap placard from your grandma (that is illegal btw)

When did hopping a red curb to park on the grass at a park become legal? I think the red curb with the "no parking" marking was a pretty darn clear indicator that what she was doing wasn't legal.. yet somehow hopping over that and parking on the grass made sense to her? idiot. Even bigger red flag that there's a parking lot nearby.. with open spaces. I like how she plays it all coy like "well there were no signs where I parked". Give me a break.

There shouldn't even need to be signs, or writing on the pavement. Infact her license should be suspended, RED IS RED, and the city was decent enough to put signs up and writing. How moronic do you have to be?
