i might be looking for a place to stay if i end up getting a job in the bay. Mountain view might be an option for me. How much is rent/bills and so on?

Mountain View/Palo Alto/Los Altos are going to be 3 of the most expensive cities in CA to live in. And I don't consider them good places for non-family life. You can commute from SF or SJ though.

Added bonus that I forgot to mention earlier: I'm a huge Giants fan, and one of the founders of our company owns a luxury box at AT&T which I am lucky enough to get some of the leftover tickets to, so you as my roommate would get first shot at going to home games in the Yahoo! box

the girly drops me off and picks me up on and from her way to her work...on nice days i'd walk and from time to time i'd drive so i can sleep in a little later.
