LOL its ok guys. If it comes down to not being able to find someone compatible to live with in a month or so I may seriously take you up on the Pleasanton thing. Im a former Pleasantonite and grew up in Danville so I know all about it over there. The only thing holding me back is that I did the Pleasanton to Palo Alto and before that Pleasanton to SSF commute for like 5 years - it was a killer. The only reason id consider it now is because my company offers a shuttle service from that area to Sunnyvale so I wouldn't necessarily have to drive, but its still a huge commute.

Thanks for the replies, any help is appreciated!

Oh man... yeah... 680S from Danville area out to the SJ area in the morning is killer! It's a great commute if you're coming up 680N at that time, though. LOL

This kinda sucks. . . I've vasillated between renting out my second room off and on. . . and I don't have a two-car garage (but I'd make it available for more $$$).

I work in mtn. view and it'd make my life easier.. but then again there's the company shuttle which would really make my life easier if it only ran during the times i need to go to work and home.

Good luck finding a roomate! All you guys have company shuttles? Does everyone work at Google or something? The food there is great!

Where do you commute from now?

I can tell you from experience that there arent many things cooler in life than having a 6 mile / 9 minute commute to work in the morning. Being able to go home and take a mid-day nap is almost as cool
