I'm creating a 'trailer teaser film 'of my F1 Evo-R rear brake light. Everyone's going to be hyped up about it, wanting to get one(especially if one currently has a rear diffuser).

Does it even light up? Needs to be about 100 times brighter if it does.

I definitely wouldn't wire it up to the brake lights, just wire it up to your switch so it flashes off and on F1 style when you are driving through the fog.

I like the shape of the one you picked out though. So glad you didn't go with that hideous triangle one.

i thought it was just me, so i didn't want to say anything, but is the light functional yet? i watched the vid and kept waiting for the light to come on or flash.

i would've just went w/a red housing light. i mean, if you primarily want it for the functionality of a fog/visibilty light, a blacked out one is kinda counterproductive. it does look better than i expected though.

We might have to consider a nighttime shot so we can see it in low-light conditions. Also, perhaps a relay needs to be installed so that it is as bright as the brake lights.

Is the lens over the LED panel smoked? Definitely seems like it should be brighter. If it isn't bright enough to see during the day it might to help to much in the fog.

Having driven through some pretty crazy fog monsters myself at silly speeds I would actually be somewhat interested in a rear foglight if it blasted through the fog and melted the retinas of the person behind like the F1 rear crash structure lights do.

Yea there are two versions you can buy from where he bought it. This is the smoked version. It fits well with the diffuser though. Vue, we need to see it at night!
