go to the qualified doctor reporting the pain/ache. It's probably nothing, but ANY pain and suffering will yield a settlement since the other party's at fault. I'm not saying this so you can do anything shady or pretend it's worse than it is, ANY ache/pain that you didn't have prior to the accident ENTITLES you to a settlement. Go get it, last I checked a bruise from an auto accident could come up to 5g's . Don't exaggerate anything in the consultation, just mention it and have it documented.

Yes, what everyone has said -- and follow up with the back aches NOW. My last AP1 was totaled 3 months after I bought it, and since I was less than a month from finishing grad school, I waited. Became a royal uphill battle from then on.
