Default Oil Change

Have you been changing your own oil, bringing it to a dealer or a gas station, Jiffy-Lube?

If you don't change your own, what have you been paying?

I 've been using my trusted mechanic b/c he allows me to walk under the car while its on the floor lift and inspect the bottom of the car while he works. I bring Honda Filter and Oil, he charges me $10-12. I let the dealer service it every 15k though....just in case.

i've done about 4-5 oil changes already, but all in my garage at home. the s2000 has to be one of the easiest cars i've ever done an oil change. but, the mingster x-brace makes it a bit more challenging....

Down in Campbell, Small shop on Winchester. You may have to talk to him in Chinese though . Actually, I've known them for over a decade since my family had always had his shop work on their cars. Not the cleanest of shops, but it really is nice to be able to check under the car for stuff that may have gotten caught up in the crevices and such; check all the wheels while they are off the ground.

If you find a mechanic you can trust, its just an oil change. So long as they take their time and do it right, it will likely be done better and cheaper than a Jiffy Lube.
