Ohlins TTX
I just found out that PSI is making an S2K fitment from the Ohlins TTX line. I believe it's the TTX36IL for the front and the TTX36 for the rear.
I was drooling over these at Moto GP and amazingly enough they're going to be available soon for our cars which I think is awesome.
PSI should have these in a few weeks as a production unit but can be ordered now if you wish. They're right around $4500 for the dampers, spring perches and the machined clevises for our car, add springs, top hats and you're good to go.

Rear TTX36

I'll keep this updated as I get more info about these but if you have any questions just contact (PSI) and they'll answer all your questions.

There are shims, just not on the main piston. The main piston is solid. The shim stacks are on the valves themselves. Essentially, the TTX is a pump, and the valves control the flow of oil. As far as serviceability goes, you might be able to keep it on a formula car, while making a valving change if the damper is pretty horizontal, but pretty much everything else would need to be removed from the vehicle. The main benefit with regards to serviceability is that a valving change can be made without complete disassembly and bleeding. As far as Ohlins internal parts being manufactured outside of Europe, that simply is not true. That being said, the 'Road and Track' product line is comprised of Japanese manufactured parts with all engineering originating out of Ohlins Sweden.

Just wondering what you guys thought of them as far as street comfort goes.
These have 800lb front & 700lb rear springs, damping was 20 out on comp f&r and 13 out on reb f&r.

Mac, how would you compare these with the SRC's?
Chassis control is said to be around the 3 inches a second range.
Edit
Reread and I think you were asking about street comfort.
I think they're a bit more comfy than the SRC's, there's an odd floaty feeling to them on the freeway with the way I have them setup at the moment but they still provide composure. This could also be due to the fact I'm running less spring rate than the SRC's 900lb springs.
When adjusted, they provide as much chassis control as you desire.
