i went from a replica mugen(vis brand) to a oem hardtop. in terms of quality i would go with the oem unless you have the money to spend on a authentic mugen hardtop.
replica mugen = too much wind noise, ghetto hardware unless you buy oem ones. plastic rear window. might leak
oem = better vision, less noise, glass window
i would rock both but defiantly wouldnt go back to a replica mugen hardtop over the oem and like itS2Krazy said, if you have less mods, go for oem, mugen looks weird if your not fixed up.

Speaking of which, I am willing to sell my CF replica mugen top for $1,200. It needs some new Window molding for it to fully work though.

The Mugen HT is aero tested & lighter - not just for looks. Mugen original > OEM.

Mugen FRP and oem actually weigh just about the same. Mugen CF is lighter though.

^ I agree with jp. I was able to take the mugen top off on my own. I didn't even wanna try with the oem one. After stripping down an oem top I can definately say that it's around the ballpark of 8-10lbs difference between the to.
