Default o2 sensor

I'm curious. Has anyone tried blocking their o2 sensor hole with a plug? & tucking their o2 sensor else where? Is it an okay thing to do or bad? I want to throw my test pipe back on but don't like seeing the CEL, even though the test pipe claims to have a CEL fix(Berk test pipe). If its okay to plug the hole let me know!
-Thanks

Plugging the hole isn't going to stop it from not sensing the O2 sensor ... you're still going to get a CEL... just search the forums for Test pipe cel fix.

By using a non fouler plug into the test pipe, and hiding the o2 else where?
I've been trying to search it on the forums, but all i get is people talking about what a tp is, cel, etc.

Correct. & tucking the o2 that is originally supposed to be in the hole, else where. Such as being hidden/zip tied up top or wire tucked. If that makes any sense.
I just want to know if any one has ever tried it, and if its a possible thing to do. The pros/cons.

One con would be you still aren't smog legal so it might only accomplish the act of turning the CEL off.

just use the BERK testpipe, it has a defouler built in. all you do is plug in your O2 sensor to the berk testpipe and it should work. new rule for smog is as long as you are OBD2 and no CEL, you pass smog

Thing is, is that even though it has the defouler my CEL still manages to come on. Lol, by the way thanks for the input everyone

it does not need both o2 to control fuel trim. 1st o2 is used for fuel trim. 2nd o2 is only to monitor catalyst efficiency that is why you get a CEL when you have a test pipe. Just put another spark plug non-fouler on top of the built in one to make the o2 stick out further from the test pipe. The ECU just wants to see the 2nd o2 not switching back and fourth.
