So ford states 412 hp but that's realistically more like 380 if you're lucky and 290 at the wheels.

Aren't losses just about the same across all vendors?

I think this is pretty cool for a nice 5.0 v8 motor to be introduced.

Ford usually has more loss because their overrated specs. Kinda like the RX8 deal a while back.

ford is not overrated, i heart heart the Focus RS and even the SVT.

The GT500 had widely been considered to be overrated in the power department and its numbers have never met expectations given claimed power to weight, but the new 5.0 GT is putting up some pretty quick numbers. 4.6 seconds to 60 MPH isn't too shabby.
