I'd be in if it's on the penninsula, King's mountain is great, but maybe too many bikers on a Sat morning for a narrow road.
The 9/1 is a maybe, and 9/8 looks good.

I'm interested in a drive on the 8th if it's on the penninsula. I should have my two two way radios back by then.
You may think about starting a little earlier though, tourists and grandmas are out and about by 10am.

It seems to me people like the 8th. Let's have a drive on 9/8 (Sat) then.
As to people who want to have a drive this Saturday, can you guys start another thread for that? Thanx. I might also join this one if I happen to have nothing to do.

So the 8th of Sept. it is then (?)
Seems like there is a strong interest in a penninsula area drive. There are some nice roads there and probably less traffic too. I live in the East Bay but would be interested in meeting up with other East Bayer's near the bridge (San Mateo Bridge, HWY 92)and caravaning over to a meeting point in the peninsula. Also, as Yee Man suggested, lets pick out some points for photo shoots.

Looks like the discussion cools down a bit. Let me get it rolling again!
Here is a route suggestion:
Start at somewhere close to the intersection of Woodside and 280.
1) Drive up Woodside Rd
2) Turn right to King's Mtn Rd
3) Turn right to Skyline Blvd
4) Turn right at Half Moon Bay Rd
5) Turn left at Canada Rd
6) Stay there until we hit Hayne Rd and 280
Then we can have lunch somewhere in San Mateo. What do you people think of this route?
