I got a cheap one from Gokart racer when I used their helmets. You proabably don't want to wear a used helmet w/o one. Mine gets all wet and sweaty inside. Oh yeah I got the cheap one from GKR for like $2.

You see, a head sock, or balaclava if you will, is made out of a fire retardant material called nomex.
