There were some good moments, especially since I hit up Calaveras Road, Old Santa Cruz Highway, and Soquel-San Jose Road on the way home.
The road from Highway 4 to Spicer Reservoir is a blast. All twisty, all smooth, almost zero traffic, basically no enforcement. Altitude really sucks the power, though. And I ran over a squirrel.
In Arnold, people gawk at the S2000 like its a Ferrari or something. Speaking of Ferrari's, I had one of my best S2000 driving experiences chasing a Ferrari 360 from Stockton to Murphys on my way up to Arnold earlier this year.
