I was wearing a red St Louis Cards cap. But at that time I think I was going in the opposite direction...

gotta be you. i remember the driver wearing a red cap but it wasn't bright red.. probably a little closer to maroon but not quite that dark.. sunglasses i believe. you were making a left at some light right after you passed el camino but didn't quite make it to the 101 yet.
