For most of us it was our first time doing CCW1 too and we were all pleasantly surprised! Super fun configuration, flows faster than CW13. So we all voted and decided to keep CCW1 for the Chrono format since it's different.

I think you'll like it.

I liked CCW1 a little better even tho CW13 gets all the pub. I found CCW1 a little more challenging.

I do understand the appeal of CW 13 as it offers somewhat of a benchmark for laptimes in the time attack world.

It's not just the appeal of the benchmark aspect, it's also the flow of the track. 13cw just feels like it flows better and is more of a challenge than CCW1. I don't like that star Mazda turn. It's somewhat of a straight to get there, tight slow turn, then long straight away again almost ala drag race style. We don't have the hp to make the straights fun. I like going through the sweeper, followed by esses that the 13cw offers.

I'm more of a fan of CCW1. The esses going CW are a non-event. We just go WOT through them. At least going CCW you actually have to make the car handle. I don't see how you can consider it anything like a straight.

I like CCW1. The star Mazda turn is a challenge. Two braking zone if you do it correctly. The Esses is also more of a challenge. Cotton corners is also a challenge with a dip on the braking zone. Fun!

A similar thread has been created in the R&C Sub-forum. Please don't hesitate to weigh in on this thread. Exposure and increased notoriety bring participation and I think we can all help with that.
