Default Nor Cal Mega Meet Location

With the 2014 S2000 Mega Meet quickly approaching, a set location is desperately needed.

Costing on these locations is still up in the air, but we need to gauge interest first.

What I do know about costing thus far:

1. Laguna Seca - we will need to charge a small entry fee (~$5) to cover the cost of the parking lot

Google Maps - https://goo.gl/maps/ROq7l

2. Sonoma Raceway - looking at sharing catering with the ongoing NASA HPDE, possibly have the lot and parade laps pro-bono

Google Maps - https://goo.gl/maps/hBa2O

3. Baylands Park - Permit fee + parking

Google Maps - https://goo.gl/maps/IHbmr

what does it mean by sharing catering? as in pitch in money for THEIR catering services or just buy food off of the catering?

I'm hoping we can work with the on-site catering to get a deal for lunch, otherwise we'll be in our own. I'll gauge interest for that once I have costs figured out.

My end goal is to have Sonoma be absolutely free, and any paid stuff (food, etc) be optional.

free is always welcome for a car meet, excluding food and drinks

Cool looks like we are meeting at Sonoma. I should be able. To make that without any excuses.

Would love to watch a nasa event during our meet too.

Love the idea.
