Not that it looks hideous, just saying that if I am paying for a car show, I don't want it to look like a car dealership with stock cars there. You know what I mean Mac?
I'm in total agreement with you. I know exactly what you mean.
What I said about my car is what I think not what you think. My car is hellanotflush

Man why is everyone getting all butthurt on this. I see nothing wrong with them wanting to screen cars. Whose to say they want a crazy ass modified cars? We don't know that. They could just be weeding out the people that don't have painted panels, or wheels only or something of that nature.

I can tell you from a spectator and participant in shows that seeing a civic with unpainted bumpers in a show is just ridiculous. I think it actually detracts from the show. People don't pay money to go look at cars like that.

I think everyone needs to relax. It's their show and they can run as they see fit. If you don't agree with it then don't show. Simple as that.
Weeding out cars with painted wheels and primer paint job cars I can totally understand and agree. Maybe I'm older but I never understood the VIP "curtains" or the "hellaflush" look with chewed up fenders and negative camber wheels. My buddies in Hawaii tell me it's the "IN" thing but certainly not for me. Perhaps it's a teen thing?

My main beef with this show is the "pre-qualify" BS since that is a total waste of time. My guess is it's either a marketing ploy to drum up interest or they just looking for ways to get people curious ~ but you're right it's their show so they can do whatever they want. As stated before I'm just not going to be involved.

Mac: Your car can be "hellaflush" if you throw on some 25mm spacers and destroy your fenders a bit!

Guys,

For those who are interested in attending the show as a spectator, here is a link where u can get $3 off the ticket price.

http://www.speedstar-racing.com/store/cata...78197f0eb1e5db1

We will have a booth at the show also.
*heads up* We'll have lotsa authentic Asimo products there: Dolls (13" & 11"), key chains, lanyards, etc. Very very rare and diff to come by.

SpoCom will be a great show for sure.
