non-s2k question
If any of you guys can chime in here, I'd appreciate it. I've got a 1990 Honda Prelude and the AC fan motor didn't work this morning. I've only got 4 speed settings and nothing works at all.
I can feel heat when I turn the temperature up. So atleast that works.
My question(s), how hard is it to change the fan motor? Where is the fan motor? And where can I buy one cheap?
I haven't checked the fuse yet, I will do that during lunch.
Thanks in advance....

*make sure the fuse is good. It's a 40A fuse I believe
*the blower is behind the glove box. you have to take out the glove box + glove box frame. there is some ducting there too, and you should be able to see the wire connectors. i think it's held in by like 3 bolts.
test the voltage before you run out and replace the motor though to make sure it's getting juice. blower motor is over $250 or some shit like that
edit: found a picture.

you know what - i had an '88 Prelude and had the same problem. other than having to replace the fan switch every so often because of crappy plastic/nylon, there was a resistor that had to be replaced under/near the glove box.
hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses guys!
I may have gotten lucky, I pulled the fuse out, it was ok, put it back in, and now everything works.......
But atleast now I know where the fan motor is, thanks for the drawing
