Default :( no driving for me

seems my cylinder head cover gasket is kaput adjusted my valves yesterday at davepk's house (thanks again dave!) but it seems something didn't sit right with the gasket and i'm leaking. I ordered a new one, along with a new cover bolt that snapped on me and a ignition cover bolt that snapped on me.

seems i'm plagued by broken bolts on this damn car!!!!

Josh, any idea how or why it happened (I'll understand if you don't wanna say)? How many miles on your car? Tough break, bud. Waranty?

Do you mean the valve cover gasket or the cylinder head gasket?

it's the cylinder head cover gasket, the gasket that goes between the big red engine cover and the bottom part of the engine. I suppose it must not've set properly when i was closing up shop or something...beats me.

not a warranty issue, probably just didn't close the cover right. I wanna replace it just in case it got damaged.

not the cylinder head gasket, it's listed in the parts as cylinder head cover gasket. So i guess the valve cover gasket.

item 1 in a long list of shit today

I thought you meant the cylinder head gasket at first.

OTOH, my engine sounds very smooth now that I adjusted my valves She's leaking like 0.5quart per day at the moment, that's with me doing very slightly aggressive (much less than usual) driving.
