I used to ride. I sold my bike in 2000. Nothing like being on a bike...

Your deduction is correct. Underinflated tires will wear from the outer edges. Fill up and check your air pressure every fill up. Tell your parents your brother unknowingly underinflated the tires, causing them to wear out prematurely. That should work. You can probably get away with it once.

dragonboi,
Sorry to beat the dead horse bro, but you are young and I don't want to see anymore incidents. I can't emphasize the importance of tires enough. Since I have met your parents, I think they would also put your safety first. Man, I feel like an adult...

alrite, yea im trying to get new tires soon. s03s in the rear with s02s in the front will just cause a bit of oversteer right? i can feel it when i go through the turns, so i just ease off the throttle a bit. what other things should i be aware of with s03s in the rear and s02s in the front besides understeer? and my tires aren't too bald right now, tread is decent.

You might want to see about buying some (mildly) used S02's off the board. If they come with the stock rims, you can either keep them or sell them. It's not a great idea to mix n match your tires, so either replace all 4 w/ S03's (or Yok A032R's ) or get 2 used S02's.

And I'm in for a drive. Wife outta town = Perry outta house.
