is there any stopping difference? i am not liking that the bbk cost so much just for the front kit. i wanted to upgrade the braking on all 4s.
Yes, there was very noticeable difference when Mac first installed them. I had to get used to the braking time and distance by lightly stepping on the brake pedal. It felt awkward and instant when braking at first but I've adapted. The OEM brakes are already very good but this makes it even better!
Keep in mind that a big brake kit won't stop you any faster. It's the friction between your tires and the ground that makes you stop, which also means that you need to balance the front and rear brakes properly, so good for you for considering upgrading all four corners. Otherwise, if you just upgrade the front, you could end up lengthening your stopping distances if your rear brakes aren't applying enough force relative to the front. Bigger brakes will change the braking feel and will dissipate heat better, but so will brake ducting, which is much cheaper.

Interesting article on balancing your brakes here: http://www.turnfast.com/tech_brakes/brakes_balancing

So my vote would be for ducting and more track days.

EDIT: One more article on regressive braking, a technique to significantly reduce heat without much performance loss: http://www.zpost.com/forums/showpost...7&postcount=27
