Greetings guys,My name is Jason. I have a 2007 Imola Orange S2000 since early 2010. She has 12,500 miles on her (20,000 km) and is 99% stock. I only put on the CR steering rack stiffeners, K&N air filter, and CR shift knob. I'm moving from just outside Toronto, Ontario, Canada to the mountain view area at the end of Febuary. I hope to have my s2000 shipped out and arrive in the 2nd week of march.I will probably have a bunch of questions for you guys. Such as where is the best DMV around the bay area as I will need to get a California's driver's licence, and california plates. Also which insurance company you guys go with. What's a good bank and other common life questions. I'm currently looking at different areas to rent. Also where are all the Autocross events? Are there any tracks near the bay area other than Laguna Seca? I spent 4 years racing by rx7 in the equivalent of SCCA/NASA HPDE time trial racing before I bought my s2000.

Thanks guys. Seems like there are a lot of low-mileage vehicles available. Sweet!!!

Welcome Jason to the Bay Area. Mountain View is a nice area. Hope you like it there.

Welcome! Sonoma raceway is probably the next closest, then Thunderhill, then Buttonwillow.

Sweet!

The beautiful weather should mean 99% of the year is ideal for track days.

Is there any particular insurance company to avoid in California?

Welcome! Now you have me seriously considering how difficult it would be for me to get a Imola Orange in Canada an import it into California.

Don't be mad at me. I'm the one who bought the 2007 NFR from Honda of Serramonte!
