Default New TSB "02-042"

Hey guys, I pulled this info from the s2000 talk forum in case some of you aren't checking there.

Basically, this is a spark plug replacement. The instructions say to remove the old plugs, install the new, and torque to 25 N-m (18lb-ft).

The spark plug kit is P/N 06122-PCS-306, H/C 7230527.

There's also a sticker to paste over the owner's manual (presumably to indicate the new part number for the plugs).

What woodwork has said though is to be patient and let Honda do their job by getting the word out to its customers and dealers. Until then the dealers will not know about it. Its just a matter of time before they are informed.

Give Menlo Honda a break! They are doing as much as humanly possible. I am sure once they get the info, they will comply. BTW - Will Ho is the best! He goes the extra mile...

Yep. Just called Doten Honda up here in Berkeley. Sales manager has the bulletin in hand, but says that since Honda hasn't sent them a "hard copy" they don't have the parts in stock to do the TSB yet. He said chances are we'll get a letter regarding the issue when most of the dealership are stocked with the kit to do the TSB.

Don't flood the service departments with questions though. I have a feeling the managers may get tired of telling s2ki members to sit tight

I am sure they are all great, my experience is only with Will at this point.
