I say buy the glass top from cabrioworld.com

Then find a local shop to do the install. Many member from here have used them and say that the quality of the new top is top notch.

Thats way to much for that piece. I have seen them on here for like $1000-$1400 used. I would go that route and install yourself. So if your really lucky $1000 bucks and you do the install.

I don't know how hard the job is on an S2K but I replaced a top on an Alfa Spyder. I would rather rebuild an engine, its easier and more fun. I'd say pay to get the job done rite.
