As far as price goes, I don't want to go (too much) over $1000

I agree..anything related to the S2k is expensive...wait until you have to replace the tires! (I've kept OEM, but still!)

So what do you guys (that endorse the Fuji) would say is a fair price range for the exhaust?

Yeah welcome to the forum but my advice is also to search local BAY AREA Classified followed by the main FOR SALE section and Group buy/vendor sections.

I have tons of parts on my s2k that I'm parting out so take a look at my ads there....

late,

In addition to the Comptech Exhaust and Header, there are quite a few exhausts out there that not many have had the opportunity to try (myself included) for under $1k. You can find pics via google or the manufacturers website. Some have media as well. Most of my stuff is still back in the midwest at the shop, sorry:

RS*R GT-2 (Part # 10-H500)
(114.3mm Tips, 60mm Piping)
MSRP $799.00 (expect

Apex World Sport (Part # 104-H023)
(100mm Tips, 57mm Piping)
MSRP $799.00

Blitz Realize TT Exhaust (Part # 23477)
(100mm Tips, 60mm Piping)
MSRP $860.00

HKS Dual Hiper Exhaust (Part # 32003-KH010)
(98mm Tips & 60mm Piping)
MSRP $895.00

Tanabe Hyper Medallion (Part # T4040Z)
(100mm tips with I believe a 60-50 step down in the piping, but I'm not sure)
MSRP $890.00

Tanabe Racing Medallion for S2000 (Part # T3040Z)
(100mm tip, 60mm Piping)
MSRP $890.00

TODA (Although I don't have the information off hand, I think it was well above the $1k for MSRP).

And a Bonus:
Spoon 4-2-1 Exhaust Header (Part # 181000-API-000)
(Tubular Header with 45mm primaries, the 48.5mm secondaries, & 60.5mm collector... gains dependent on exhaust/mods, save you ~5-6 lbs over stock)
MSRP $1,625.00
^--- If anyone does decide to go with the above, remember there are extended manifold nuts available, use them.. (M8x125). You can reuse OEM flange nuts with them.

PM me if you want prices that I have sold these manf. at in the past, they should give you a good idea of what to expect to pay.
