dude thats the same thing as clear bra. The paint needs to breathe to cure. If you cover it its not breathing.
thanks brian , i appreciate

Brian's correct.. that is a black gel coat. Kaan, you need to ask your bodyshop how long it will take the paint to cure. Brian again is right, the paint needs to breathe because solvents and other paint stuff (I don't remember the names of the components) need to evaporate over the course of almost two-three months sometimes.

Once you have a bra on (assuming 3M), let THAT cure as well. There is a layer of clear coat on it (ask your body shop for advice on the duration of this as well). You will then be able to use a wax or sealant. Avoid petroleum products.

Off topic/but related: I had a clear bra on my old STi. A trick my roomate (obsessed with keeping cars clean, and obsessed with Zaino car care stuff... he was like a filipino version of Jake but looked like Blue) had was to use some painters tape over the seams. This avoids build up.

(How do you guys get to be on a forum at work!? I have to be home to do this, our browser security is tougher than alcatraz on the work computers). I miss the small company days...
