Default New Owner in the Bay!

sup everyone, just picked up a GPW s2000. the names Kevin. just saying hello to everyone and wondering if there was a way to make the soft top plastic less hazy or something that would clear it up a bit? thanks

nice car, too bad you're rolling on kumho ecsta's

but seriously, to make the plastic clearer try a plastic polish like plastX. if that's still not enough, consider buying a conversion. last i recall it was only around 800 and IMO (i've driven with both) the glass is night and day better.

LOL sup again dagle. the kumho's came with the car and there pretty new so i aint tripping ^-^ ya seriously i cant see shit out the back right now. straight up blurry as ****..

plexus: 6 bucks on ebay. wash and wax forum will have plenty of great suggestions to fix it up. i was never a fan of plastic, i had it in my old celica, shit was hazy as ****. i had glass in my miata and glass in the s2. never looked back.

yeah i know what you mean but the deal was good so i didnt want to pass up on it, rarely any white ones for sale in the area..

congrats! clean gpw ap1

you can try plastx by hand, but best results will be through a machine. consider picking up a porter cable so you can polish the plastic as well as the rest of your car. plexus will clean it, but it won't get rid of any haziness.

or, give jake (ujsht) a pm and ask him about his legendary details
