Hi All,

Didn't see any thread dedicated for new members to introduce themselves, so hoping I'm not going to piss anyone off by creating a new topic!

Anyway, been wanting an S2000 for a while and recently picked up an a 03 AP1 in GPW with tan interior and 39k miles from a dealership. Overall I think it's in very good condition with decently low miles and an interesting colour combination (and AP2 wheels which I think look better)..and of course the 9k redline but let's not get into that circular argument at this point!

1) Just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully get to know a few fellow S2000 owners. I'm in the downtown Palo Alto area and also own an 89 BMW E30..quite a bit of a car nut but not really into the autocross or racing scene (at least as of right now).

2) Wanted to ask if anybody on here knows anything about my particular car...past owners, what it's been through etc.? I bought it from Hansel Toyota in Petaluma and the dealer claims that the previous owner traded it in for a Tacoma. Clean Carfax history and I'm the 3rd owner (1st owner in Florida, 2nd in the Bay Area I believe) according to Carfax. At work right now and only have one picture I uploaded online a few days ago, so tagging a link to that for now to the bottom of this..

3) Anybody have these front fog lights I have? Having trouble finding them online. The right side light doesn't work so trying to find a replacement. At least based on the switch inside the car it is a PIAA set...tried taking it off this weekend and discovered that behind the scenes it's not very pretty (bumper has been cut, some pretty bad rusting screws, etc.) so don't want to take it off till I know I can find a replacement...any advice?

4) I have a really annoying vibration noise coming from inside the dashboard..sort of center of the car. No noise at idle..gets louder with the revs. Doesn't sound like anything major, just something lsmall and loose...I know this is very vague but is there a common issue amongst S2000s that this could be caused by?!

Overall loving the car and looking forward to being a member of the Bay Area S2000 community!

Cheers,
~S

welcome! the foglights you have are just oem ek lights. if the bulb is out you can open it up from the back and just replace it, I think its an h1 or maybe h3? you dont need to buy a whole new housing unit

Welcome! Something may be loose behind the radio (or the radio it self). Maybe the ABS module?

Come out to a Friday night meet and we can take a look at her and see what needs to be fixed in the dash.
