Finally went to Anderson Honda to get the CEL checked out, thought the diagnostics would be covered by the CPO warranty but it wasn't. They wanted $145 to conduct it which I politely declined. James, the rep who was helping me did feel sorry for me after I told him about how the car arrived with the CEL so he pulled out the device to check the CEL. Returned a P1127 reading which has something to do with the O2 sensor. Pretty sure that's covered under the CPO warranty so I'll probably be taking it back to the dealership next week to have them work on that. Just hope they don't try to charge me $145 to run the diagnostics.
AAaaah yes the stealership hard at work . Welcome to the club. Maybe I'll see you at a meet. Nice color choice btw.

Thanks Fujin.
Any of you guys in the Peninsula / South Bay have experience w/ either Anderson Honda or Larry Hopkins Honda? I wouldn't take it to the dealership normally but this is an item covered by warranty. I'm going to take it over to Larry Hopkins later to check out what their dealership is like.
Update: N/M, search returned plenty of results.

I took my 06 to Larry Hopkins and although they weren't able to fix the problem my car never came back with damage. Capitol Honda is a different story, those guys scratched the bottom edge of my front bumper and denied it, I saw the guy park it up on the curb. The manager denied it and said he wished the S2000 was not under Honda because they're never just in and out service. The guy was a complete joke.

Got my car back from Larry Hopkins Honda. Don't see any damage. Actually enjoyed my experience with the dealership. The service representative I interacted with was Rob Alvarado. Explained the process / charges to me clearly. They didn't have a replacement sensor on hand so they overnighted it. Got a call back the next day at around 11am to tell me the car was done. Have no doubts I'll be going back to them in the future for any issues covered by the warranty.
