Or is this just a typo of some sort ... I thought there weren't any mechanical/engine modifications in the 2008? Seems like its getting less MPG than the rest of the AP2/1's.

They could be using the 'actual' mpg ratings for this day and time and not the epa rating methods from the mid 20th century.
