Needs help swapping ap1 top to ap2 glass top

Then why does he need to mod the ap1 frame to fit the ap2 top as Kevin said? Just wondering. Expanding my knowledge here

its top is ripped in half but you can use all the other stuff

the guys at Vargas Upholstery in sunnyvale quoted me $1089 for glass top conversion. what do you guys think?

guessing at that price point they are going to modify your my00 frame to fit an aftermarket glass top. they are going to order something along these lines LINK and charge you 700 for labor (9.33 hours @ $75/hr).

sounds about right but I would try to make sure to get reviews on the fitment on the aftermarket top beforehand.

PS: oh and make sure to get the defrost conversion!

Just order the top and a bunch of us will come help. From reading the post, it sounds pretty easy. Just takes a lot of time.
