Must be karma rearing its ugly head - that's what you get for selling stuff with missing parts and then ignoring the buyer afterwards!

if you need to discuss matters with the seller/buyer or whatever you're starting a fuss about, you should PM them. posting in a forum/thread that has nothing to do with your situation will turn out bad
Not really, it's already gotten better - this is the first time I've gotten a reply from the seller, after 4 PMs and several posts on other threads. So I would say that this situation is on the up and up for me! (You didn't think I already tried PM'ing first? That was the first thing I did.)

Of course it was fine in your car, it's when you uninstalled it that you missed a couple brackets and hoses! K&N has an online manual that has a part-by-part list of the contents. I went through the box multiple times, dumped out all the packing foam, and could not find the missing pieces.

And just to set the record straight, I bought the kit in May, and PM'd about the missing parts in July, when I found a weekend to install it on my car. And no, I wasn't able to install it on my car that weekend.

To others - the parts themselves were maybe ~$30 to replace / fab, but it's the pain-in-the-ass of the process, the way the kit was advertised as "complete" and then the seller completely ignoring me when I asked for help afterwards - that's why I felt the need to warn other members in dealings with him.
