Default need to replace my hid bulb

my passenger side headlight stopped working last night i need to replace the bulb
does anyone what bulb i should get and where to buy it? i dont want to buy it of the internet because i have to wait even if i overnight the part.

its D2s, i think i have one bulb laying around in my trunk. i will check and will let you know.... you can pick it up for $20 on friday if you want.

i think its recommended that bulbs be replaced at the same time. i dont know why tho.

you dont have to.... well as long as they are both same Kelvin rating so you wont have different shades of light, so not required to change both at the same time.


haha dude you also said before that you check your power steering fluid on your S.... i dont know about that either j/k

Don't you have to remove the bumper to get to the headlight bulbs?

Mine are OEM but have been meaning to replace them with a higher kelvin like maybe 6000k or 8000k.

Anyone know what K our stock bulbs are?

(this is common practice on the BMW m3's but not sure if anyone in the s2k community has done this?)

rick
4300K is the stock bulbs. It has the most visible light.

No, just the front of the fender liner.

If you go with a higher kelvin rating, you will lose visibility.
