Default Need Recommendation for Soft Top Replacement

Hi. I'm looking to replace my soft top with someone in the East Bay (Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill area). I'm looking for recommendations from other S2K owners / enthusiasts. Also, what's a reasonable price to pay for a Soft Top replacement? I'm seeing prices anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000. I was quoted $2,300 from one shop already which I thought was a little high.

Also, vinyl versus canvas...any thoughts.

I'd get a used good condition top and install it myself if price was an issue. it's about an 8hr job. especially if you bring it to a shop, they would have little to no experience working on an s2000

Premier Auto Tops & Interiors in Santa Clara is about the best in my area, price is in the middle range, depends on how much you want to spend. if anything below $800, it would be best to find a used top with frame and do it your self. a new aftermarket top will run you around $500-800 depending on where and what brand you get. giving us your budget might help a little more, so we know what are we working with.
