Default Need mechanic/shop to replace head gasket on 97 Tacoma
Hi all,

Sorry if this is none S2K related post but i still have my S2000 in my garage collecting dust . I am looking for a shop/mechanic who can change a headgasket or engine on a 1997 Tacoma 2WD, can someone recommend a shop? Thanks

toyshop in SF is a highly reputable place. wayland is the owner & ex sf toyota tech. check his yelp for reviews

Do you guys know how much the normal charge to replace the motor or to replace the headgasket?

I spent roughly $800 for the head gasket repair.
