Need info on transporting car across country
what the title says... anyone transported a car from back east to the bay area? what company did you use and how much? good/bad experience?

oh cool, thanks for that link... i will look into it. yeah this will be coming from chicago to the bay area.... i want an enclosed truck with tracking capabilities... i heard its around $1200 enclosed from NY to SF so im thinking a little less than that.

I used DAS (direct auto shippers, i believe)
It cost me $675 from Chicago to San Lorenzo... I had to pay $100 extra (or it would have been $575) because it's a convertible. So, that guaranteed me a top spot on the truck. And I didn't pay the extra $100 to have it picked up and delivered... I did that' myself
took about... six days I want to say.

only ~8000 made worldwide... around 3000 of that made it in the US.
