hmmm, forgot about the placard number...maybe its best just to prove that you could not have possibly been there at the time you were cited since you were in class at another campus. that may be the only way then...

OR, maybe you can get an updated placard if your physical condition still requires it.

I think I still would have parked in a red, or loading zone.

Here's my 2 cents worth, based on past experience with parking tickets...

If possible your best bet is to renew your placard then turn up in court with a valid placard and ask for dismissal of the ticket.

If that's not an options things get a little grim. Most university police and parking authorities have real juristiction, so they can report parking tickets to DMV and block you from registering the car. They usually record a VIN number and tag number on the citation, so they can prove the car was in the spot regardless of where you can prove you personally were at the time on the ticket. You as owner of the vehical are financially responsible for the parking citiation regardless of who may have been driving the car. All they have to do is run the VIN/tag through DMV and your name will spit out.

Do check your VIN number/tag number on the citation. If it is misrecorded file the ticket in the wastebasket cause they can't match you to the ticket.

You ever misdialed a phone? it is easy for them to mis enter a ticket . if the info is incorrect, you should be able to fight it...not sure about these thrid party tickets though. Good luck.
