Default Need to find a good place to repair my seats. Any suggestions?

I hasn't been too long since I purchased the S2k from a guy who didn't take care of it for about 3.5 years. It seemed the passenger seat was in fairly decent shape until I leaned on it with my elbow while vacuuming and there she goes. A rip on the perforated leather.

The leather overall is fairly worn from use and I'd like to seek for a decent place to have them re-upholstered. Can anyone recommend one from their past experience? I picked a couple from Yelp but I try not to weigh it too much as lots of vendors sort of force customers good reviews at the shop sometimes.

Thanks for the help in advance.

It would probably be more cost effective to buy a new set off of craigslist in hopes someone is upgrading with your color. Where exactly are you from and how far are you willing to travel to get it done?

I would say a Craigslist special or a pair of recaros.

The problem is that mine is MY08 so it is quite difficult to source the identical seat for them. Even then, there is no guarantee that seats will stay in shape neither. (It seems that these OEM vinyl covers are very weak)

I am in Oakland currently and I suppose I can travel as long as there is an alternative transportation to get back home.

Have you considered buying a new leather cover from leatherseats.com and recovering them yourself? I have gone this route in the past with great results. It's not cheap though.

Yeah. that option was one of my viable option until someone posted a review on it. He said the fitment&quality was just a soso.

This is a no-brainer imo. Clazzios are awesome. For $300 your seats will look brand new.
