I don't think Saran wrap would be thick enough to make any difference.

Huy-

Thanks for the offer. But, i 'm looking for a temporary solution. Besides, are you installing the clear bra yourself? On the website, it recommends a "professional".

Bra! You know one of those undergarments that ladies wear. Don't worry about it. It was a corny attempt at a joke.

Too much time here.

yes... a bra is definitely needed for that drive, especially on I-5... i went down to bakersfield once and i had to clean off literally hundreds of bugs off the bumper and radiator, then after getting home I saw the chips... sucks. just try not to follow anyone too close... good luck!

following too close isn't the issue. I don't know much about CA roads, but up here they're trying to redo a highway that i travel every day to work. The construction is horrible, huge dumptrucks traveling 50 mph. and they're constantly spewing pebbles and crud everywhere. No matter how far back you are one always seems to find it's way to any surface of the car, hood, nose, windshield, top. The other day i was a good 1000 ft back from one of them with a audi in front of me. Rock flew off his windshield and hit my trunk. (not the S) Be careful

Those friggin rock trucks!
What is up with that anyway? Is it because our cars are lower that we catch anything and everything on the windsheild? I get bug guts all over my car. Even on short drives. I've taken up bringing windex and paper towels everywhere I go.

Well, i just finished washing my car after the long drive to San Diego. I wasn't able to get a bra for the trip. After driving 1,000 miles on the hwy, I did noticed some new minor rock chips but nothing to complain about. But, there were so many freakin bugs on I-5. I had to clean my windshield every time i refueled.

None the less, the drive was awesome!!
