if your going to change your springs to lower your car i suggest getting new shocks with it too...koni yellows...
Might as well save that money for coilover. If you drop no more then 1in your stock would be fine.

i dont think you can get a linear rate lowering spring, lowering springs are progressive rate, it is soft at the beginning of the compression to lower the car then it gets stiffer to compensate with the stock shocks travel. with that said, the spring rate of a progressive spring is attained at the maximum compression

coilover is linear rate because you always adjust ride height with the sleeve. spring rate is constant from full rebound to full compression.

but yeah a 10-kg progressive spring is good for stock shocks but might be bumpy.

A 10k lowering spring would be murder on the OEM shock. I don't know of a lowering spring even close to that.

k eibach got back to me....looks like it's just the pro-kit, so no custom spring rates. i suppose it can't hurt having the springs on for a bit if it doesn't degrade handling?

eibachs on Koni's are almost like an OEM quality ride at an appropiate height.

on OEM shocks it will degrade a bit - believe me. i bought springs for the S after reading thousands of "handling is great" threads here only to discover for myself that I was bouncing along the freeway like a Ford fiesta
